Are you a creative enthusiast and would like to try your hand at upholstery? Flamingo Upholstery’s leisure classes are a great opportunity to transform your own piece of furniture and to learn new skills!

Classes are very small (2 students at a time) and flexible. You choose when and how many classes you want to book in for!

In my fully equipped workshop, I will guide you through your project, from stripping the upholstery down to building it up again and upholster the top fabric. You can purchase all the upholstery materials you need to rebuild your chair or stool from the workshop, so there is no need to source it yourself! You can bring your own fabric, though I have some remnants you can choose from or sample books you can order from.

What can you expect?

The number of classes you attend will depend on the size and complexity of your furniture piece. Please ensure that you bring something small to re-upholster to start with; a drop-in seat, foot stool, piano stool, or something similar are ideal projects for an evening class. If in doubt, please send me a picture of your furniture piece prior the class. Whatever the project, you will create a completely new look, ready to be admired and used.

Materials needed can be purchased through the workshop on the day. You may need to bring your own fabric if you want to complete on the day of class. We ask you to bring your furniture pieces back home due to limited capacity in the studio.
