Re-upholstery service

Is your furniture worn out but you still love it? Flamingo Upholstery transforms old and dated chairs and small sofas and gives them a new leash of life. With new fillings and fabric your furniture will be unrecognisable! I am a full member of the national upholstery association AMUSF and I am skilled in both traditional and modern techniques. Therefore, your furniture will in good hands – you can expect the finish to be of high quality. To help you choose the right fabric for you, I have a good variety of sample books in my workshop for you to browse. I can also help you source any particular fabric you are looking for. Upholstery Leisure Classes

Have you got an upholstery project you would like to tackle, but would like some professional guidance? Flamingo Upholstery runs regular leisure classes where you are guided to upholster your own piece of furniture. The classes can be booked by the evening so they are very flexible to suit your time schedule and your project. Classes are limited to two students per class so there is plenty individual guidance. This is a great way to learn a new skill and you will transform a piece of furniture you will cherish and be proud of! So click on leisure classes for more information.

Please note: I am currently not taking on any new leisure class students, and I will open up my information page again once I can start running new classes again.

Bespoke upholstered furniture for sale

Flamingo Upholstery also creates bespoke upholstered pieces of vintage furniture; one-off finds re-upholstered in beautiful fabrics. Sometimes the wood is polished up, or I may strip back the varnish and wax the natural wood for a more modern look. I select only good quality frames, including Parker Knoll and Ercol chairs, and pieces that have an interesting or unique quality about them.
